Coroners were called to the scene of a pedestrian accident involving a train Tuesday afternoon in Longswamp Township.
Initial calls came in shortly before 11:15 a.m. The incident took place near a private crossing in the 1100 block of State Street along the Norfolk Southern Reading line.
The accident involved one man, reports said.
Emergency responders called for a coroner’s unit about 11:30 a.m.
