NEW TRIPOLI, Pa. – Notre Dame Green Pond (6-2) posted a 6-5 win over fellow Colonial League contender Northwestern Lehigh (6-2) on Tuesday afternoon in New Tripoli.
Clemente Cintron was strong in the start for NDGP, striking out 6 in 5 innings of work.
Andrew Ruppe hit a 2-run double in the 3rd to extend the Crusaders’ lead to 4-0.
The Tigers pulled to within a run after plating 3 runs in the 4th but the Crusaders were able to hang on in a meeting of teams at the top of the Colonial League standings.
