Pierogies and new beer in Pottsville
Yuengling & Son will unveil a limited-edition Polish-style Polska Pilsner on Thursday and serve it alongside samples of Mrs. T’s mini-pierogies. Beer can be bought from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The beer and pierogies tasting is from 5 to 7 p.m. in the gift shop and museum at 420 Mahantongo St., Pottsville.
‘Glass Menagerie’ in Scranton
See a classic play Thursday through Saturday when Scranton Fringe presents “The Glass Menagerie” by Tennessee Williams. ‘Jurassic Park’ movie scored by Philharmonic in Wilkes-Barre
Tickets are going fast for the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic’s Saturday show. It will play the soundtrack for an HD screening of “Jurassic Park” on the big screen. Buckets N Boards in Hazleton
Buckets N Boards, a touring comedy, percussion and tap-dancing act, is part of the Hazleton Concert Series on Saturday. It has headlined shows on Disney cruise ships and performed widely.
