(WJET/WFXP)– The Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority (ECGRA) celebrated a milestone Wednesday, having distributed over $600,000 to what they said are some of the county’s most impactful nonprofits last year.
ECRGRA said they distributed $613,061 more in grants to lead organizations in 2025 that they said are the most impactful for Erie’s culture, history and recreation around town.

From the Erie Zoo to the Flagship Niagara League, ECGRA said these lead asset nonprofits anchor tourism, education and quality in Erie County.
“The Lead Assets represent positive impact to Erie County’s identity and quality of place and we support their efforts in perpetuity,” said ECGRA Executive Director Perry Wood. “A strong quality of place is what attracts visitors, retains residents, and makes Erie a place people are proud to call home.”

Since the start of 2025, ECGRA said they’ve distributed the following amounts to their nine lead asset organizations:
Erie Philharmonic: $104,606
Hagen History Center: $67,925
Mercyhurst Institute for Arts & Culture: $53,090
Flagship Niagara League: $49,581
Erie Arts & Culture: $44,036
expERIEnce Children’s Museum: $38,403
