Authorities ID body found in Brodhead Creek | Poconos and Coal Region

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The Monroe County Coroner’s Office has identified the man whose body was found in Brodhead Creek last weekend.

Authorities say 31-year-old Jan Kolendowicz of Analomink was found deceased in the creek on April 4th around 4 p.m.

An autopsy was completed Tuesday. Authorities say the cause and manner of death are still pending.

The ongoing investigation of the incident is being conducted by Pennsylvania State Police – Stroudsburg.
