JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Get some Roaring 20s attire and make plans to attend the “Harlem Nights” fundraiser to benefit children at the Bethlehem Center.
The Bethlehem Center has served underprivileged children in Jackson for nearly 90 years. It provides daycare and educational services for babies and young children.
Glenda Cage Barner says the center is struggling following funding cuts and families need financial help to continue using the center.
The “Harlem Nights” Fundraiser will help fill the funding gap.
The event is Saturday, April 25th at Central Family Life Center on North Farish St. from 6:00-9:00pm.
Tickets are $35.
Barner says the event will feature food, fun, music, and door prizes.
You can call the Bethlehem Center at 601-355-0224 to purchase tickets or make a donation.
