The Catholic Choral Society will present The Generations Sing Concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, at Mary, Mother of God Church at Holy Rosary Parish, 316 William St., Scranton. As in past years, this year’s celebration strives to celebrate both ecumenical diversity and multigenerational singers. The Catholic Choral Society is composed of members from Lackawanna, Luzerne, Wayne, Pike, Wyoming and Susquehanna Counties.

This year, the Catholic Choral Society will both sing with and host the following groups:

Mid Valley High School Spartan Singers, director, Jonathon Mengoni; University of Scranton Campus Ministry Choir, director, Michael O’Malley; St. Mary of Mount Carmel Elementary School Choir, director, Mrs. Kristyn Polishan; organ performance by Michael Sowa, organist and music director, St. John the Evangelist, Pittston; and The Catholic Choral Society of Scranton, director: Ann Manganiello.

Board members assisting co-presidents Brenda Grunza, Nicholson and Lois Ostrowski, Pittston, in arranging the concert include Nancy Flannery, Kingston; Sheila O’Brien, Dunmore; Rich Gibbons, Hunlock Creek; Chris Koster, White Haven; Kate Conaboy,  Archbald; and Connie Schulte, Clifford Twp. Ann Manganiello is the music director of the Catholic Choral Society; Michael O’Malley is the accompanist.
