READING, Pa. – A Berks County food bank is offering more than just food for girls and women who need other necessary items in life.
Volunteers were at Helping Harvest in Reading on Saturday for the “Help A Girl Out” Pick Day.
Organizers have been collecting feminine products and diapers from the community, and now, those items will get distributed so women who need them can pick them out for themselves.
This was the 5th year of the annual event.
