A 16-day layoff didn’t seem to affect the Lackawanna College football team.

The Falcons scored on their first five possessions and rolled to 40-14 win over the Lebanon Valley College JV team Sunday afternoon at Arnold Field in Annville.

Quarterback Jacob Tiberi opened the scoring 3½ minutes into the game with a 1-yard touchdown run. Tiberi only played four drives and finished 9-for-14 passing for 87 yards.

Joseph Bivins, Jalen Fletcher, Jiri Mills and Laivon Balthazar also had first-half touchdown runs for Lackawanna (4-3). Mid Valley graduate Victor Holt returned an interception 29 yards for a score as the Falcons built a 40-0 halftime lead.
