The Greater Erie Area Habitat for Humanity was bowling for a cause Saturday to help support a little boy in need.
Habitat held a bowling fundraiser at Green Garden Lanes to raise money to build a wheelchair accessible house for Na’Real, a four-year-old boy who has cerebral palsy.

Fifty percent of the bowling fee, along with a raffle and gift basket auction, directly supports Habitat’s mission to design and build a home that features adaptations for Na’Real’s special needs.
Organizers said these adaptations will ease his care and help him live safer and more secure.
“To see the people that show up for me all the time, and not just me, just my family, also. it means everything,” said Danatsha Crosby, Na’real’s mother.

“It’s incredible to create an opportunity for a family to raise a home in an environment where the children can be successful and the family can love each other,” said Louis Colaizzo, board president of Greater Erie Area Habitat for Humanity
The executive director said they will be breaking ground in three weeks, and the house is expected to be complete by October.
