Center Valley, PA (April 14, 2026) – The DeSales University women’s tennis team earned a 6-1 win over King’s College in MAC Freedom action on Tuesday afternoon.
The Bulldogs took a 1-0 lead sweeping all three doubles matches. First-years Noelle Holderith and Julia Wiest paired to win 6-4 in the No. 1 flight and first-years Kate Gomez and Haley Maloney won 6-0 in the second position in the lineup. DSU took the third flight by forfeit as King’s had just five players in uniform.
In singles, the Bulldogs won at the No. 2, 3, 4 and 5 singles matches. Wiest was a 6-1, 6-1 winner in the second flight, Gomez won 6-0, 6-0 in the No. 3 position, Maloney won 6-1, 6-1 in the fourth spot, and sophomore Caroline Prince won 6-1, 6-1 in the fifth spot.
The Bulldogs are scheduled to return to action on Thursday, traveling to Neumann University for a non-conference match beginning at 3:30 pm
