Jean (Yockey) C. Schmoyer
OBITUARY
Jean C. Schmoyer, 81, formerly of Emmaus, passed away Monday, April 13, 2026, in Legend of Allentown, Lower Macungie Twp. She was the wife of the late Irvin R. Schmoyer, PhD. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Austen and Jean (Cain) Yockey. Jean was a graduate of William Allen H.S., class of 1963 and served on their reunion committee. She received her B.A. from Muhlenberg College in 1985. She was a teacher at The Hillside School for many years before retiring. Jean was a member of the Allentown Garden Club.
Survivors: Daughter, Janine M. Clarke and her husband Richard A. of Macungie; Grandson, Michael R. Clarke; Brother: Thomas Yockey and his wife Sharon of Coplay; Brother-in-Law: Mark Kunkle of Allentown. Jean was predeceased by her sons, Todd M. Schmoyer and Richard I. Schmoyer and by her sister Donna Kunkle.
