Love is officially in the air this spring — the 5th Annual Old City Wedding Stroll is set for April 29.

From 5 to 8 p.m., the event will officially transform America’s most historic square mile into an open-air wedding showcase featuring over 40 participating businesses.

Within just three hours—and a few charming, walkable blocks—couples can experience what usually takes months of planning. The Stroll will feature ways to meet top wedding vendors face-to-face, tour venues, try on gowns and suits, sample menu offerings, and connect with florists, photographers, and more. The best part? The evening is free, and to join, all you have to do is register online.

“Old City’s evolution into Philadelphia’s premier wedding planning destination reflects what couples want: convenience, choice, and charm all in one neighborhood,” says Job Itzkowitz, executive director of Old City District. “We’ve seen remarkable growth—new boutique hotels adding intimate event spaces, established salons expanding into bridal services, even historic venues reimagining their offerings. The Wedding Stroll gives attendees a snapshot of that evolution.”

In total, lovebirds will be able to explore bridal and formalwear, including couture gowns and custom suiting for all genders, peruse through engagement rings and wedding bands with expert guidance, and meet beauty professionals specializing in hair, makeup, and styling. The event also boasts invitation designers, floral artists, and unique gifting and registry ideas (including services for couples’ four-legged friends).

Beyond the details, participants will be able to scout a variety of venues while enjoying tastings and other private dining inspirations. Participating spots span The Gas Lamp Hotel, The Cacao Pod, Mane Bridal, Boxbar, Petit Jardin en Ville, Marathon Printing, Lokal Hotel and plenty more (a full list can be found online).

Registration for the activation offers access to the area’s wedding perks, and also a chance to win a prize worth $3,000. The grand reward holds a basket with gifts like a free tungsten wedding band from Hitched, professional hair and makeup trials by Cass & Clare, a floral arrangement from Petit Jardin en Ville, gift certificates (to Mari Mi Bridal, Mari Mi Couture, and over a dozen Old City restaurants and businesses), and other goodies. Additionally, all registered attendees will receive a complimentary Welcome Bag with check-in.
