AIRBNB SAYS THAT’S NOT THE CASE AND SENT OUT A RELEASE REMINDING PEOPLE ABOUT ITS BAN ON DISRUPTIVE PARTIES. IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO HAVE A PARTY, AIRBNB IS NOT THE PLATFORM FOR YOU. Fineview residents raise concerns over Airbnb rentals during NFL draft in Pittsburgh

The NFL draft will be held April 23-25, and some people who live in Pittsburgh’s Fineview neighborhood say they are concerned about Airbnb rentals during that time.”We actually don’t know what to expect, but we know it’s going to be worse,” said Candace Cain, of the Fineview Community Organization.Cain said there have been disturbances at Airbnb properties in the neighborhood. “The North Side has been affected, and the NFL draft is going to be on the North Side. The two shootings that occurred, where there were injuries and even two deaths, occurred on the North Side,” she said.Cain said she is not looking forward to the draft bringing large groups to the area.”The biggest effect recently has been these large gatherings, and Airbnb encourages this.
