The Jessup American Legion Auxiliary hosted the Lackawanna/Susquehanna District Meeting on March 21. Thirty-one people were in attendance from Susquehanna, Moscow, Eynon, Blakely, Hallstead, Taylor, Carbondale and Jessup.
District President Tina Haggerty conducted the meeting. A guest speaker from Keystone Legacy Financial, Derek Sheruda, owner, spoke about issues associated with retirement, Medicare choices and military benefit opportunities.
Following the meeting, participants enjoyed a luncheon and all received a departing gift from Jessup Unit 411.
