PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department has ordered the closure of a Pittsburgh lounge because of a health hazard.
Choices Lounge on Webster Avenue in the city’s Hill District has been shut down.
A recent inspection found that wastewater is actively leaking through the ceiling of men’s restroom and is being tracked throughout the establishment.
Additionally, rodent droppings were found in the kitchen.
A “closed” placard is posted at an establishment when an imminent health hazard is identified at a restaurant or kitchen or if it has been operating without proper permits.
