Android users eligible for payout as part of $135 million settlement

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Some potential cash is coming for Android users.

Google has reached a $135 million settlement over allegations its operating system caused mobile devices to consistently transmit data.

Anyone who has used Android since late 2017 may qualify if they file a claim through the settlement’s website.

Google has denied wrongdoing, but agreed to the settlement.
