READING, Pa. – The Berks County Board of Elections voted Thursday to change the polling location for the 2026 primary election in the fourth precinct of Wyomissing Borough to the Wyomissing Area School District Flannery Field at High Road and Flannery Field Way.

The location is being moved from the school district’s athletic field house on Evans Avenue.

The board said the request came from the school district to avoid security issues so that there is no contact with students.

The board also learned from the Election Services staff that the ballot files have been finalized and sent to the printers and that the 17,500 mail-in ballots (requested thus far) should be mailed sometime next week.

The Election Services Office will begin over the counter voting on Monday, April 20 in the office on the first floor of the County Services Center.

To vote over the counter, voters come into the office, fill out a mail-in ballot application, which is then processed immediately so that the voter can then submit their completed ballot.

Voters should expect a wait time of about 15 minutes to complete the process.
