The U.S. Navy Band Cruisers, a Navy popular music group, will perform a free concert May 3 at 2 p.m. as part of Nay Aug Park’s Jimmy Connors Summer Concert Series in Scranton.
Cruisers concerts are family-friendly events, meant for the public and those interested in joining the Navy. The concert will include hits from the 1960s through today.
Almost all of the sailors in Navy Band groups have undergraduate or graduate degrees in music.
