CALLED OUT TO THE FIRE. NOW THE WGAL NEWS EIGHT STORM TEAM FORECAST WITH METEOROLOGIST BRIAN ARGENTI. PARTLY TO MOSTLY SUNNY CONDITIONS ACROSS THE AREA. YOU CAN SEE OVER THE RED ROSE CITY SOME PUFFY WHITE CLOUDS IN THE BACKGROUND THERE, BUT I WILL ALSO MENTION IT HAS NOT BEEN AS WARM TODAY. WE’LL SEE UPPER 70S TODAY. STILL UNSEASONABLY WARM, BUT NOT AS WARM AS WE’VE BEEN DEALING WITH THESE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS. 72 RIGHT NOW IN LANCASTER. SO THE WEATHER HEADLINES FOR THE REST OF THE DAY HEADING INTO TOMORROW. HIGHS WILL BE INTO THE UPPER 70S. SO DEFINITELY SLIGHTLY COOLER. BUT AGAIN STILL UNSEASONABLY WARM FOR THIS TIME OF THE YEAR. THEN WIDESPREAD RAIN RETURNS AS WE HEAD INTO OUR SATURDAY EVENING AND SUNDAY MORNING. AND IT’S VERY BENEFICIAL RAIN, BY THE WAY. WE ARE VERY DRY ACROSS THE SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY. WE DEFINITELY NEED SOME OF THAT BENEFICIAL RAIN AND IT WILL BE A COOL START TO EARLY NEXT WEEK. THEN WE’LL START TO SEE TEMPERATURES GET TO THE 70S BY MIDWEEK. BUT LOOK AT THIS THOUGH. WATCHING LOWS GETTING INTO THE 30S FOR OUR MONDAY AND ALSO POTENTIALLY INTO OUR TUESDAY. FOR TODAY. THIS AFTERNOON, PARTLY SUNNY, BREEZY AND PLEASANT. GETTING INTO THE UPPER 70S WILL DROP DOWN TO THE MID 50S OVERNIGHT TONIGHT WITH INCREASING CLOUDS STILL REMAINING MILD AND THEN FOR THE AFTERNOON TOMORROW LOOKING LIKE WE’RE GOING TO BE BACK INTO THIS UPPER 70S ONCE AGAIN. PARTLY SUNNY, STILL WARM, BUT THERE IS A LATE EVENING SHOWER CHANCE FOR TOMORROW. BUT IT WILL BE COMING IN LATE IN THE DAY. SO IF YOU HAVE ANY PLANS FOR THE FIRST HALF OF THE WEEKEND, MOST OF THE DAY REMAINING DRY, SO YOU SHOULD BE GOOD TO GO. VERY HIGH POLLEN LEVELS THOUGH FOR TODAY MOLD LEVELS ARE LOW. AIR QUALITY IS MODERATE 30 MINUTE BURN TIME. SO WE CREATED THAT ABOUT A MODERATE UV INDEX FOR THE AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES INTO THE 70S 72 IN LANCASTER 71. CARLISLE, 70 DEGREES IN LEWISTOWN. SO STILL WARM OUT THERE. STORM TEAM, LIVE RADAR NETWORK. WE’RE SEEING MAINLY CLEAR CONDITIONS, PARTLY TO MAINLY CLEAR CONDITIONS, I SHOULD SAY, AND ALSO SOME SPOTTY SHOWERS THAT ARE JUST IN THE WAKE OF THE COLD FRONT THAT PASSED BY OVERNIGHT OR EARLIER THIS MORNING, I SHOULD SAY. BUT AS THAT COLD FRONT CONTINUES TO PROGRESS OUT TO SEA, WE’LL CONTINUE TO SEE SOME NORTHWESTERLY FLOW COMING IN. THAT’S WHAT’S ALLOWING THESE TEMPERATURES TO COOL DOWN. BUT ALSO WE’LL SEE SOME CLEARING AS WE HEAD INTO OUR FRIDAY EVENING. AND ALSO GETTING INTO TONIGHT. THEN FOR TOMORROW MORNING, HEADING INTO OUR SATURDAY, A BRIEF INCREASE IN SOME CLOUDS. BUT AGAIN, THE FIRST HALF OF THE DAY LOOKING DRY IS JUST PAY ATTENTION TO THE TIME STAMP HERE RIGHT AROUND 7:00, 8:00 IN THE EVENING. THIS NEXT COLD FRONT PUSHES THROUGH. THAT’S GOING TO GIVE US OUR NEXT BEST CHANCE OF SHOWERS OVERNIGHT SATURDAY HEADING INTO SUNDAY. AND THIS IS LOOKING LIKE IT’S GOING TO BE WIDESPREAD RAIN. SO AGAIN VERY BENEFICIAL RAIN. WE NEED THE RAIN ACROSS THE AREA. SO THAT COLD FRONT COMES THROUGH. THEN WE START TO DRY OUT FOR THE SECOND HALF OF OUR SUNDAY. SO A DECENT END TO OUR SUNDAY. AND THEN HEADING INTO NEXT WEEK IT WILL BE BREEZY AND COOL. AND LOOK AT THIS. THE TEMPERATURES GETTING DOWN INTO THE LOWER 50S. BUT NOTICE 32 DEGREES FOR OUR MONDAY. WE MAY WE MAY POSSIBLY GET A FREEZE WARNING AS WE HEAD INTO OUR MONDAY NIGHT. SO KEEP THAT IN MIND FOLKS, AS WE HEAD INTO THIS WEEK, HEADING INTO TUESDAY AND WEDNE
