A home invasion led to a stabbing in Pittsburgh’s Brookline neighborhood Friday night. Pittsburgh Public Safety officials told Action News 4 that officers were called to a home in the 2700 block of Waddington Avenue for a reported home invasion and stabbing. While on scene, police said the homeowner explained how someone broke into their house through a screen door. The suspect allegedly punched the homeowner. The homeowner said they then grabbed a knife and stabbed the intruder in the arm. Officials said both were taken to the hospital as a result of the incident.
