SCRANTON, Pa. — On Saturday, the 15th annual Electric City Tattoo Convention returned to the Hilton in downtown Scranton.

More than 200 tattoo artists from all over the country are under the same roof for this weekend’s event, giving those who want some fresh ink the perfect opportunity to make it happen.

“Everybody’s happy to be here, you know. I mean, if they’re not coming to get tattooed, then they’re just coming to hobnob with people and people watch and socialize, and yeah, it’s a positive vibe, you know. I like to think there’s very few negative people here,” said Elijah Birtel, the Co-Organizer of the event.

The tattoo convention goes today until 11 p.m. and Sunday from noon until 8 p.m. in downtown Scranton.
