SCRANTON, Pa. — The Scranton public market hosting its ‘Earth Day Pop-Up Market’ at the Marketplace at Steamtown in Scranton.Â
The eco-friendly event featured plant-based food, work from upcycled artists and a ‘seed swap’ where attendees were able to exchange and trade various types of plants and produce.Â
“It was amazing. There were so many people that traveled from far and wide to come here again to just sample maybe something that’s not available on a regular day to day basis. And there was a lot of different vendors that came to specifically promote a healthy living and supporting the Earth. So how could you go wrong,” said Maura Cummings from Throop Soups.
Today’s pop up kicked off at noon and ended at 5 p.m.
