ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Two lucky tickets sold in Genesee County, one worth $1 million and another $100,000, were among the winners in the New York Lottery’s special Million Dollar Raffle celebrating the Erie Canal’s bicentennial.
BW’s in Pavilion sold one of fifteen top-prize tickets worth $1 million. Western OTB Gaming in Batavia sold one of fifteen second-tier tickets, each worth $100,000.
In total, the Lottery reported 5,505 winning tickets statewide, including 45 top-tier prizes.
The Million Dollar Raffle tickets were numbered between 1,208,648 and 2,000,000, with drawings conducted from that range.
The New York Lottery said it contributed $3.6 billion to education in fiscal year 2024–2025.
