PennDOT released a statement that the Pittsburgh Driver’s License Center at 708 Smithfield Street will be closed on Thursday, April 23, and Friday, April 24, 2026, due to anticipated traffic impacts and disruptions associated with the NFL Draft.
Several other nearby driver’s license centers will be open and ready to serve customers during the two-day closure, including:
Bridgeville Driver’s License Center at 1025 Washington Pike, Suite F2, Route 50, Bridgeville
Penn Hills Driver’s License Center at 11620 Keleket Drive, Penn Hills
Allison Park Driver’s License Center at 1701 Duncan Avenue, Allison Park
Pennsylvanians traveling in and around the greater Pittsburgh area should be prepared for changing traffic patterns, slow-moving or stopped vehicles, and an increase in pedestrian traffic, PennDOT stated in a release.
