OBITUARY
Andrew Andy LaCoe, 60, of Scranton, passed away Friday, April 17th.
Born in Newton Ransom, Andy was a man shaped by simple beginnings and strong values. A farmer at heart, he carried that work ethic with him throughout his life, including his many years working at Alleima. No matter what life threw his way, Andy was the kind of man who always found a way. And if you needed him, he showed upno questions asked.
Andy is survived by his mother, Mary Beverly Nana; his devoted wife Jeanine; his daughters, Marie and partner Garret, Melony, and Mandy and partner Pranav; and his granddaughter, Anika, who brought him so much pride and joy. He is also survived by his brother, Michael; his sisters, Evelyn, Julie and partner John, and Kate and husband Edgar; and many nieces and nephews who meant the world to him. He enjoyed games with Gavin, fixing cars with Scott, and displaying Dees artwork.
He was preceded in death by his father, Butch; and his brother, Frank.
A funeral will be held on Thursday at 7 pm at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit, with services by Karen Davis Rickaby. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home from 5 pm until the time of the service.
