Gannon University students are gearing up for the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh.
This weekend, 15 students and faculty members will help manage security, crowd control, and event operations during the three-day event. Partnering with Allied Universal, the students will gain hands-on experience at one of the nation’s biggest sporting events.
This marks the fourth time Gannon students have participated, tying into the university’s sport business major and new event security minor. Professor Eric Brownlee says the opportunity helps students apply classroom lessons to real-world challenges, build confidence, and make professional connections.
The NFL Draft runs April 23 through April 25.
