OBITUARY
Carol A. Walker, 81, of Scranton, passed away Friday evening at Lancaster General Hospital. Carol was born and raised in Hazleton daughter of the late Francis and Anna (Suchy) Olenik. She was a member of the parish of Ss. Cyril & Methodius at the Church of St. Joseph.
She was a graduate of Hazleton High School, Class of 1962 and received attended Wilkes-Barre General Hospital Nursing Program and graduated a Registered Nurse.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Wayne P. Walker in which she operated with him their Floor Covering Store.
She is survived by her three God-daughters: Lori Richards, Lebanon, Pa, Ailien Kazenitz, Hafield, Pa., Jodi Derry, Williamstown, N.J. and a nephew James Wlker III, Mechanicsburg.
The Funeral will be held on Wednesday with a Mass of Christian Burail at 10:00 A.M. at the Parish of Ss. Cyril & Methodius at the church of St. Joesph. Interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery. There will be no viewing.
