Bucks County honors Vietnam soldier with new bridge name | Southeastern Pennsylvania

A bridge in part of Bucks County will now carry the name of a soldier who died in Vietnam.

The bridge on Creek Road in Warwick Township is now named for Sergeant George Hamilton.

The bridge was dedicated on Tuesday.

Sergeant Hamilton was killed in action in July of 1968.

Bucks County is in the process of dedicating government-owned bridges to the 136 Bucks County residents who died in Vietnam.
