OBITUARY
Marjorie M. (Schuh) Scotch, 77, Carbondale, died Saturday at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. Her husband is Philip Scotch Jr.
Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Fred and Anna Rose Schuler Schuh, she was a nurse for many years providing compassionate care for patients at Scranton State Hospital; CMC Scranton; Mercy Hospital, Scranton; Marian Community Hospital, Carbondale. She was also a Hospice nurse. Marjorie cherished time spent with her grandkids; and attending her grandkids sporting events. She and her husband enjoyed dancing together at social gatherings.
In addition to her husband, Philip, she is survived by: two sons, Kevin Scotch and wife, Nora, Scranton; Eric Scotch and wife, Rachel, Scranton; a daughter, Mary Beth Scotch Magnot and husband, Aaron, Scott Twp.; six grandchildren, Ethan, Noah, Tyler and Elijah Scotch; Mandy and Chase Magnot; a brother, Fred Schuh and wife, Marlene, Peckville; a niece, Stacy Schuh; nephews, Brian Schuh, Keith and Jonathon Ewonishon.
The funeral will be Saturday from Miller Bean Funeral Home Inc., 436 Cedar Avenue, Scranton with a service at 12 noon in the funeral home by Rev. Jason Schwartzman, Elm Park United Methodist Church, Scranton. Interment to follow at Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
A viewing will be held on Friday from 4 pm until 7 pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 30 E.D. Preate Dr., Suite 108, Moosic, Pa. 18507.
