OBITUARY
Thongdy Sphabmixay, 77, of Old Forge, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Bao Sphabmixay; daughter, Phat Sphabmixay; son, Pawn Sphabmixay; grandchildren, Sammy Bryant, Niki Sphabmixay, Nina Zimmerman, Andy Sphabmixay, Amanda Sphabmixay, and Meira Sphabmixay; great-grandchildren, Isaiah and Alayah Sphabmixay. He was preceded in death by his son, Phouth Sphabmixay.
Family and friends may attend his viewing on Friday, April 24, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St., Taylor. Thongdy’s Buddhist ritual ceremony will begin on Saturday at 10:00 AM.
