PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — A new report shows crime on SEPTA lines continues to drop.
The transit agency reports a 30% reduction in serious crimes in the first quarter of 2026, compared to the same period last year.
Those crimes, including aggravated assaults and robberies, remain at their lowest level since 2015.
SEPTA police continue to prioritize fare evasion, which the transit agency says has been reduced by 10%so far.
