Erie First’s Collins makes college hoops choice

In local high school boys basketball news, Erie First Christian Academy’s Avery Collins has made his college choice official.

The all-time leading scorer in the city of Erie, Collins, will head to Edinboro University to play for head coach Justin Jennings and the Fighting Scots.

Collins led the Eagles to back to back D-10 titles while winning three championships in his time with the program.

Erie First reached the PIAA class A state quarterfinals this winter.
