April 22 is Earth Day and to show support for this nationwide initiative the Erie County Courthouse is lighting the building with green colored lights.
The building was glowing green on April 21 as well and tonight the community can still see the building in its green glory.
These green lights represent the county’s ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and protection of natural resources. Reminding residents the importance of sustainability, conservation, and the overall preservation of the environment.
As the only county with direct access to Lake Erie, Erie County, residents and visitors are encouraged to reflect on how to contribute to a healthier, more sustainable Erie County.
