Abington Heights used its depth and had seven athletes each win an individual event to earn an 86-64 win over Valley View and clinch a tie for the Lackawanna Track Conference Division I title in boys track and field Tuesday afternoon.

Owen Morgan won the 1,600-meter run, and Jacob Laird won the 300-meter hurdles. Carter Plantz won the shot, Adrian Azar took first in the discus, Derek Williams won the javelin and Gavin Ewing won the high jump for the Comets.

Abington Heights, which won its second straight and 19th title overall, finishes the conference season April 27 against Scranton.

Gavin Oprishko won the 100 and 400, and Colin Dempsey won the triple jump and pole vault for Valley View.

Julia Schuster won the 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles, freshman Aliya Lucarelli won the 100 and 200 and Anna Pucilowski won the 1,600 and 3,200 for the Lady Comets, who finish the LTC season against Scranton on April 27.
