Pennsylvania State Police said the parents of a 5-year-old boy who fell from a ski lift at Blue Knob All-Seasons Resort in Bedford County are facing felony child endangerment charges following a weeks-long investigation. Investigators said Maya and Micah Porter of Centre County allowed their son to ride the ski lift alone last month. The boy fell approximately 20 feet to the ground and was flown to a Pittsburgh-area hospital for treatment. Police said resort staff took about 15 minutes to locate the boy’s parents after the fall.
