BETHEL TWP., Pa. – A multi-vehicle accident closed part of Interstate 78 in Bethel Township, Berks County, Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
Pennsylvania State Police say it happened around 11:05 p.m. Wednesday in the eastbound lanes between Exit 13 for Route 501 and Exit 16 to Midway.
Authorities said multiple cars were involved, and several people were taken to the hospital.
Just after 2 a.m. Thursday, all eastbound lanes were still closed to traffic.
