With another election upon us, we have all the information you need to know about how to vote in Pennsylvania.
Voters can decide to cast their ballot by mail or they can go to the polls on May 19. Voters who are registered as Republican or Democrat will choose their party’s nominees for governor, lieutenant governor, representative in Congress, half of all state Senate seats, all seats in the state House and the state committee.

How to register to vote in PA
To vote in the 2026 primary you must be registered by May 4.
You can register to vote online, by mail, or at a number of government agencies, including Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Photo License and Driver’s License Centers.
All Pennsylvanians can register to vote, if they’re:
• A citizen of the United States for at least 30 days before the election.
• A resident of Pennsylvania and their election district for at least 30 days before the election.
• At least 18 years of age on the day of the election.
