The 2026 summer season has plenty of festivals and fairs for all to enjoy. Below is a list of these events and what to expect as summer approaches.
From April 30 until July 5 the Erie Zoo will host the GLOW WILD Chinese Lantern Festival.
May Festivals and Fairs:
On May 2 the Erie County Food Truck Festival will be held in Lawrence Park.
Drinking Water Festival will be held at Erie Water Works on May 9.
The Edinboro Arts & Music Festival is a time to celebrate local art and music in Edinboro from May 15 until May 17.
May 15 until May 17 the Festival of Birds will be held at Presque Isle State Park, perfect for any bird enthusiasts.
The Troika Festival will take place from May 22 until May 24 where attendees can experience Russian culture with music, dance, and food.
May 27 until May 30 the Wild Rib Cookoff and Music Festival in Perry Square will take place. Those in attendance can enjoy ribs and enjoy live music.
The Spartansburg Community Fair will be hosted from May 30 until May 31 at the fairground. The weekend event will feature a horse show, food trucks and vendors, Sparta Spurs 4-H event, the Spartansburg Volunteer Fire Department Gun Raffle, and camping.
June Festivals and Fairs:
At the Waterford Community Fairgrounds Duran’s Down-Home Days will take place June 6 and June 7.
CorryFest will be a celebration of community from June 11 until June 15.
The Lake City Fire Department Carnival will be held from June 18 until June 20.
On June 20 in Perry Square Erie’s Juneteenth Block Party will be held with various events planned throughout the week.
Sol Fest will be held on June 20 at Liberty Park where attendees can enjoy a multi-sensory KidZone, interactive art projects, and an extensive music line up.
UPMC will host the Sunset Music Series on Beach 11 at Presque Isle on June 24.
Pride on the Bay will be held on June 27 to celebrate LGBTQ+ pride.
Albion Fireworks Festival will be held June 27 and June 28 at Albion Borough Park.
Asbury Woods will host Music in the Woods Mondays from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. All concert series are free and open to the public with a suggested donation of $5 for Asbury Woods programming. Visitors are encouraged with bring lawn chairs and blankets. A different food truck will be available each night and they ask that pets be left at home.

July Festivals and Fairs:
On July 3 several events and musical events will be held throughout the city.
UPMC will continue the Sunset Music Series on July 1 at Beach 11.
8 Great Tuesdays Music Series will begin July 7 and continue every Tuesday until August 23 at Rebich Investments Amphitheater.
The Panegyri Greek Festival will be held on July 10 and July 11 with food, dance, and music of the Greek culture.
From July 15 until July 18 North East will host the Firemen’s Cherry Festival with cherry themed treats and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.
Waterford Heritage Days held from July 17 until July 19 allows guests to go back in time with historical reenactments and crafts.
A free downtown festival called Amerimasala will be held on July 18 in Perry Square with a variety of cultural performances throughout the night.
Discover Presque Isle will be back on July 20 until July 26 where attendees can explore the natural beauty of Presque Isle State Park.
On July 24 and July 25, a backyard picnic known as the Gathering at Chaffee’s Music Festival with a large music celebration.
The Lake Erie Community Park will host Music in the park on July 1, July 8, July 15, July 22, and July 29.
Dan Rice Days Festival will return from July 30 until August 1 where the community can celebrate the Dan Rice legacy.
August Festivals and Fairs:
The Erie Blues and Jazz Fest will be held August 1 and August 2 at Frontier Park with soulful tunes.
Paul’s Italian Festival where attendees can enjoy Italian cuisine and culture from August 7 until August 9.
Warren County Fair a traditional agricultural fair will be held from August 9 until August 16 with fireworks, barnyard Olympics, and plenty of entertainment.
CelebrateErie a huge downtown event will be held in Erie with music, art, and food from August 14 until August 16.
From August 21 until August 23 the Zabawa Polish Festival will celebrate Polish heritage with food and dance.
Crawford County Fair, one of the biggest agricultural fairs in Pennsylvania will be held from August 22 until August 29.
The Erie County Fair will feature rides, games, and exhibits from August 30 until Sept. 5 in Wattsburgh Pennsylvania.
The Gem City Renaissance Festival will be held on August 31 at Frontier Park with live entertainment, artisan vendors, food trucks, and historic demonstrations.
September Festivals and Fairs:
German Heritage Fest on Sept. 5 and Sept. 6 will feature German cuisine and music at St. Nick’s Grove.
Sept. 7 through Sept. 12 the Waterford Community Fair will be held with exhibits and entertainment.
Edinboro Highland Games which celebrates Scottish culture with games and music on Sept. 11 and Sept. 12.
Fiesta on the Square in Perry Square will be hosted by the Erie Latino Leadership Association will be held on Sept. 12 with entertainment, food, and free activities.
The Albion Area Fair will feature family fun rides, food, and shows from Sept. 15 until Sept. 19.
From Sept. 18 until Sept. 20 the Erie Irish Fest will be held at St. Patrick’s Church in downtown Erie with a variety of food, activities, music, dancing, and crafts all celebrating the Irish culture.
The Homegrown Harvest Festival will be held at Goodell Gardens on Sept. 20 to celebrate the season.
Gibson Park will host the North East Wine Fest from Sept. 25 until Sept. 27 where attendees can enjoy wine samples and live entertainment.
