READING, Pa. – Reading Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that injured a 13-year-old boy.
It happened just after 8 a.m. Friday when police responded to the intersection of N. Front and Windsor streets for a report of a male struck by a car.
Arriving officers found an injured 13-year-old male juvenile at the location. He was transported to the hospital for treatment, and his injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
Police say a private citizen’s dashcam video has been circulating on social media and reportedly sows a black Nissan sedan strike the juvenile, then flee the scene without stopping to render aid. Police say the Nissan headed east on Windsor Street as it fled.
