EXETER TWP., Pa. – A plant making treats that are known around the world is celebrating 50 years in Berks County.
Pladis hosted a ceremony at its Exeter Township facility, which makes Godiva chocolates, to mark the milestone.
Officials say this is a celebration of history and a recognition of the local relationships that have made Godiva’s success possible.
“The reputation of our brands around the world depends on the care and excellence delivered right here in Reading, day in and day out,” said Mujde Saracoglu, head of plant operations.
Reading Mayor Eddie Moran praised the plant’s workers and the way the facility impacts the city.
