71-year-old man in critical condition after being struck by vehicle in Pittsburgh

A 71-year-old man was taken to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood.Pittsburgh Public Safety said it happened at around 4:45 a.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Forbes Avenue and Oakland Avenue.The man was found unconscious with a head injury and was in critical condition as he was transported.The driver did stay on the scene.Pittsburgh Public Safety said the incident remains under investigation.
