A 73-year-old Allentown woman has died, four days after she was involved in a car crash on Route 222 in Lower Macungie Township.
Gale Ann Lombardi was pronounced dead at 6:42 p.m. Friday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest from multiple blunt force injuries, according to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office.
An autopsy was completed and the manner of death is accidental, the coroner’s office stated.
Lombardi was driving northbound on Route 222 at Kressler Road at 8:14 p.m., April 20, when she was involved in a collision with another vehicle.
State police and the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office are investigating the crash.
