The Reading Fightin Phils and Classic Harley-Davidson are once again teaming up to host a Toys for Tots event at FirstEnergy Stadium on Sunday.
The 19th annual Eastern Pennsylvania Toy Run will be held at the venue from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program and the Children’s Home of Reading.
The event is open to attend. And those who make a donation of a new, unwrapped toy or money will receive a free Berks hot dog and hot chocolate.
Before the event kicks off, there will be a caravan of motorcycles and vehicles from the Classic Harley-Davidson on James Drive in Bern Township to the stadium. Those who wish to participate in the caravan should arrive at 9:30 a.m. Santa will lead the caravan as it makes its way to the stadium at 11:30 a.m.
Additionally, the Grand Slam Grill and Yuengling Tap Room will have classic ballpark food and drinks available for purchase, and the team store will be open for holiday shopping with a 20% discount. After leading the parade, Santa will remain at the stadium to greet children of all ages.
