On Saturday, high school students from across the state came out to compete in the ‘2026 National History Day in Pennsylvania State Contest’ in Scranton.
The competition held at the University of Scranton featured more than 700 students competing for various awards in an effort to be named the ‘top student-created project.’
Over 300 projects were presented in categories ranging from ‘best documentary’ to ‘best exhibit.’
A public viewing of the awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, starting at 10:30 a.m. at the University of Scranton.
