Margaret (Nana) Miller Adamiak

OBITUARY

Margaret (Nana) Adamiak born November 23, 1934 died on April 9, 2026, after battling diabetes and complications for almost half of her life. She was 91 years old and very proud of the “1” as she worked hard to get that far.

Born in the Keyser Valley Section of Scranton, she and her late husband Edward Adamiak, and their family moved to Gouldsboro in 1962.

Margaret was the daughter of the late Stephen and Josephine Miller. Margaret leaves behind two daughters, Susan Cammerota and Sandra Dutton-Hockenberry, along with 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Her family was an important part of her life. Margaret was the last of her immediate family. She graduated from West Scranton High School in 1952, and continued with her education. Margaret always encouraged as much education as you could get.

She worked at the Tobyhanna Army Depot for many years, starting at the data entry system department and becoming the first Protocol Officer.

May God Bless her as she enters the beautiful Kingdom of Heaven. We pray that she meets up with her sisters and her mother and they sit down to a good card game and have fun!
