A specialty cake company, with more than 800 locations across the United States and Canada, is expanding its footprint with two new local bakeries.
A new location of Nothing Bundt Cakes, a bakery franchise famous for its handcrafted bundt cakes, bundtlets and bundtinis, opened Sunday at 256 N. West End Blvd. in Richland Township, Bucks County.

Another Nothing Bundt Cakes location is coming soon to 3788 Nazareth Road in Lower Nazareth Township, Northampton County.
The new Quakertown area bakery occupies an updated space that previously housed a GameStop store in the Trainer’s Corner shopping center, while the new Lower Nazareth bakery will occupy an updated space that previously housed a Subway sandwich shop in the Northampton Crossings shopping center.
An opening date for the Lower Nazareth location has not yet been confirmed, a Nothing Bundt Cakes spokesperson told 69 News on Sunday.
“Opening timelines can vary, so the best way to stay updated is to check the Store Locator page,” the spokesperson added.

Founders Debra Shwetz and Dena Tripp started Nothing Bundt Cakes in Las Vegas in 1997, according to a historical account on the company’s website.
The pair had a shared dream: “to bake happiness into every bite.”
“Fueled by friendship and an entrepreneurial spirit, they whipped up the brand’s very first Bundt Cakes in their Las Vegas home kitchens,” the account continues.

Earlier this month, Nothing Bundt Cakes, celebrated the opening of its 800th bakery, located in East Bakersfield, California.
