BANGOR, Pa. – A borough in Northampton County is looking ahead to the future by preserving its present.
A time capsule was buried today at Bethel Park in Bangor.
It was painted Slater colors of maroon and white with images of the borough printed on the lid.
Kids who were at the event were encouraged to grab a shovel and put in a scoop of dirt to fill in the hole where the capsule was buried.
The capsule will be opened in 2075.
