VERMILION, Ohio (WOIO) – A dad who allegedly used a cattle prod to discipline his two young children, has a hearing in Erie County Court of Common Pleas Monday.
The hearing is on Robert Bores’ motion to withdraw his guilty plea.
In September 2025, Bores pleaded guilty to two counts of domestic violence.

Bores was arrested on March 13, 2024, after a tip from Children Services led Erie County Sheriff’s Detectives to his home in the area of State Route 113 in Florence Township.

According to detectives, the children were seven and eight years old and are currently being cared for by a relative.
