I do wanna give an honorable mention, A+, an A+ moment from the draft, and that is the moment that Eli Heydenreich, the running back from Navy, was drafted to Pittsburgh.
So Eli Heydenreich was a r- running back, wide receiver kind of combo player out of Navy.
He’s the leading receiver in Navy history.
Will go down, I believe, as one of the greatest players to ever wear a Navy uniform in, n- the Navy football program.
Eli Heydenreich is from Pittsburgh, he grew up a Pittsburgh Steeler fan, and he got drafted, as he leaves his college career as the leading receiver at his university, got drafted in his hometown by his hometown team, wearing his Navy uniform.

It was just such a special moment.
He got drafted, puts on his Steelers hat, he’s walking down the tunnel, he touches the Pittsburgh Steelers logo.
You can tell he’s incredibly emotional.
So I mean, this is a guy who really kinda changed Navy football.
A triple option offense that evolved so much because of what he was able to bring to that offense.
An explosive runner, obviously an explosive pass catcher as well, so I loved to see that moment.
It was a feel-good moment.
As the draft is full of so many feel-good moments, that was absolutely a feel-good one there
